Thanks so much to Alexia and Netscape for letting me tell my story. Things are really happening here in the Musician's Village. We've got about 30 houses that are in some phase of construction including just under 20 of us that have already moved in. The most exciting part of living in this promising community is the Ellis Marsalis Center which will be built in the Village. It will be a state of the art community center focusing on music that will have performance space, classrooms, rehersal space and a park. I see a bright future for this neighborhood and I'm glad to be a part of it.
Come visit New Orleans!

Thanks for the additional info., Margie! And everyone definitely go and visit New Orleans. It's such an amazing place. And be sure to stop at Cafe Beignet on Royal Street for breakfast - it's also the meeting place for the coolest tours of the city!!!

No one, who ever hasn't lived or been to N.O., will ever know what this was like. I stayed to take care of my dad - who would not leave - It was crazy - but I grew much from it
