Ha! I'm writing a column on some ways that Apple can make iTunes cooler, and this was one of the ways I had in mind.

Great news . . . but now I have to come up with a replacement.

I hope this does happen. I use iTunes all the time for myself and my kids, and there have been many times where I have had buyers remorse after buying a song or two from an album then wishing I bought the whole thing. I would definitely go back and buy a few albums if they gave me credit for the songs that I already purchased.
