Cast your vote:
"I want her back to jail"
"I think she should stay home"

My vote is I don't want to hear any more debates among the legal experts. All evening the news-talk channels ranted on and on about this non-celebrity non-event. Each one had at least one expert who loudly proclaimed that it was "Outrageous" to give her more than 3 days in jail for such an insignificant offense -- that the LA DA was just picking on her because of her celebrity status.
I couldn't help thinking how families who have lost a loved one must feel hearing that.

Fairly good resemblance, but this girl is better looking than Paris. And shows some talent.

Yeah, I knew she was to prissy to handle it.
I'm not even prissy and I couldn't handle 4 hours in a county jail! Not afraid, just thought I was having a breakdown.
(I missed a child support hearing)

I guess that bible she was seen carrying before she went in had a "get out of jail free" card in it.

I really like this song. It's the most intelligent thing connected with Paris Hilton. But c'mon! No one really expected her to stay in jail, did they? I mean, like, do they even have lattes there? She probably drove the guards crazy with request for items they'd never heard of. "OMG! Can I have sheets with a thousand thread count, Egyptian cotton? Where are the Horchow cots?"

Haha, no doubt. As a friend put it "It's pretty bad when the LA County Jail lets you out cuz they can't put up with you any longer"

Thanks BB, it's actually a cute song.
Makes me want run amok on my next visit over there.
What's my chances of a Sheriff piggy back (always wanted one of those)?

The justice system has made an absolute mockery of itself. This is almost like a corrupt third world country where you can easily influence decision and buy favors.
I have never been so frustrated in my life before. I had never ever imagined that some one would be able to sneak his/her way out of the justice system on such a trivial pretext. Are we now going to evaluate every prisoner and let them go if they are depressed? I am sure there are many incarcerated on crimes similar or less trivial than Paris. I understand that her crime is not as gruesome as of a serial killer but it still is a crime. That is why she got only 45 days in prison and not life or death sentence and hence she should fulfill her verdict.

Some make the argument that she shouldn't have been sentenced in the first place. I wonder why? The argument is that there are so many that are on probation and avoid the system. Well going by that argument, no one should get a speeding ticket because the guy in front or behind them might also be speeding! She was tried and convicted by the jury of her peers (not really because I don't think any one of them is a billionaire by luck of birth). The best way to avoid the justice system is to not commit a crime, however trivial it might be.
Our prison system is full of older people, some of them as old or older than 80. They may not all be reformed but they have certainly outlived their threat as criminals, well not all of them but for sure most of them. They still perish there while Paris gets to live in $2 million mansion wearing a "pink" ankle bracelet.

Actually, she was not sentenced by a jury of her peers. She plead down from a DUI to a lesser offense (reckless driving).
And she did get probation. If she'd just followed the terms of her probation, she wouldn't have done a single day in jail.
And I do feel her sentence is too harsh...for a softie like Paris, anything over a couple of weeks is overkill. But 3 days and 2 hours is likewise, underkill, probably not enough to get her attention the way it needs to be gotten.

If it was one of us, we would rot there every minute of our sentence however depressed we got. This is not the "Free" country we dreamt of where only rich and famous go scot-free. Some real bright people are languishing in the prison just because they did something stupid or were at the wrong place at the wrong time. Commuting their sentence would return something substantial to the society rather than "a big mouth and an empty head".
Every cloud has a silver lining. Let's look at the brighter side of the fiasco. For the millions of kid for whom Paris, Britney, Nicole et. al. serve as role model it should serve as inspiration to be rich and famous so that they can smoke meth, murder or drink and drive and still get their way around it!

You may have a hard time believing this, but watching this video and checking out some comments constitute the most time I've spent following this story. There are too many important topics NOT being covered in the media because of the obsession with this kind of crap. Cute video though. Now, back to the real world for me.

...and a nose the size of a freakin' TOUCAN! lol
I read where some dumba** "fan" of hers (don't you have to BE something to have "fans" like an athlete or a rock star? Poor Rich Wh*res and models don't count) held up a sign referring to her as "America's Princess Di". Trick, please... how dare you insult the memory of Princess Di. At least although she was ACTUAL royalty, she cared about OTHER PEOPLE (victims of land mines, etc etc) and actually had CLASS... something that ALL of her family's money couldn't buy her.

That's not a very difficult achievement, since Hilton is such a mutt. The guy who she tipped a dollar after keeping the paparazzi away after parking her car shoulda took a dump on her seat, but that just goes to show HE has more class than SHE does.

VOTE? Vote for what? Why should this rich little whinny crybaby get out of jail earlier than anyone else under similar circumstances? You people really think this is a joke? And you wonder why there is such a disconnect between average joe citizen and the politicos and rich people in this country. Who gives crap about this idiot?

I voted - that she should be kept in jail. And I think the public at large as judged by that poll agrees. The results were something like 75% Jail, 1% Home, and 3% I Don't Know. I think the "I Don't Knows" are about as stupid as the ones who voted "Home". The #@$!$ers in power NEVER would have let you or I out so early.

Let us pray... that the overpriveleged Hilton family one day leverages themselves to their eyeballs, then a Chinese bank becomes their creditor and puts them out on the street. Then the poor little rich ho will have to learn some serious porno skills to earn a living. Maybe she can hire Jenna Jameson as a consultant to show her not to just "lay there". lol
