The news of his death depressed me for days. I sat under his statue in Austin a couple of days ago and pondered some "what ifs" for a while.
He didn't "mimic" anyone. His guitar playing and music was uniquely his and his alone.
"Well its flooding down in Texas,
all the telephone lines are down..."
